Let me start out by saying, Happy Easter! I love the familial bonding that occurs during this time of year--both because it is, in fact, Easter, but also because the day after, tmorrow, is my little sister Rebecca's birthday! It's not just any birthday tomorrow, but her thirteenth. She's finally becoming a teenager, despite my wish that she would be able to stay a little girl forever. She's growing up way too fast. Anyway's that's her with the birthday cake, and above that is me and her. She's holding her new hamster Chester in the picture.
Also with Easter, I get new clothing. I've picked out three dresses this year. The first is shown above. It's from the Jason Wu for Target collection. Otriginally, the preppy-meets vintage-meets edgy dress, one of many in the collection, was priced at a reasonable amount of forty dollars. However, I got it on sale for eleven dollars because the collection has been on the racks for about two months now, and this dress was the only one left. That's a deal. The leatherette cuff I bought was also on sale for only five dollars. Love the bargain shopping!
